Built for the harshest climates

Leading Edge Fabric

Every Tentickle tent uses Tentflex fabric — a fire-retardant (optional), waterproof, UV-repellent, Teflon-coated polyester. All textiles are produced in South Africa under strict quality control, backed by an EU building book with full wind load and engineering certification.

Climate Control

For extremely hot and sunny countries, Tentickle have engineered a double roofing system by adding 90% heavy-duty shade cloth about 80cm above the Tentflex roof. This keeps the tent cool during the day and extends the lifetime of the tent by a minimum of five years.

Heavy Duty Rigging Accessories

We rig with marine-Grade rigging 316 stainless steel - corrosion-resistant, built for coastal salt air and constant tension, heavy duty aluminium and galvanized & powder-coated steel. We tension with G12 Rope - High strength-to-weight, minimal stretch — keeps every curve crisp in wind and rain. All tents sewn with GORE® Tenara® Thread - PTFE thread that outlasts the fabric. No rot, no fade, no UV degradation.
